Atebubu BACCSOD launches Mobile App & The USSD Code, at 7th Annual General Meeting.

The Brong Ahafo Catholic Co-operative Society for Development Limited (BACCSOD) launched its Mobile App and USSD Code during the 7th Annual General Meeting held on August 28, 2025, at the Atebubu Catholic Church premises. The launch was a significant milestone for the institution, as it aimed to provide customers with convenient and efficient banking services.

During the meeting, the Board of Directors presented the audited accounts for the year 2024 to the shareholders. It was agreed upon to reinstate dividends to the capital to expand their shares with BACCSOD. Additionally, a share drive was initiated to allow customers who did not own shares to purchase them and for existing shareholders to acquire more shares.

Mrs. Alice Kupour, the General Manager of BACCSOD, emphasized the importance of the Mobile App and USSD Code in modern banking. By dialing *728#, customers could easily conduct various banking transactions such as withdrawals, airtime purchases, bill payments, balance inquiries, and deposits. She encouraged customers to invest in shares as it offered benefits such as loan acquisition, decision-making opportunities, and other perks with the bank.

Mr. Mathew Alignoi, the Atebubu BACCSOD Manager, expressed his gratitude to the shareholders and customers for their overwhelming presence at the meeting. He highlighted the key activities of the event and urged residents to conduct their financial transactions with BACCSOD, emphasizing the institution’s reputation as the best financial institution in Ghana. He also advised BACCSOD Mobile bankers to demonstrate commitment and transparency in their operations.

In an interview with Mr. Gyan Emmanuel, the Secretary of the Board of Directors, he discussed the profits generated by the bank in 2024. He praised the institution’s excellent customer service, which had earned the trust of residents, customers, and shareholders. He encouraged residents in rural areas to save their money in BACCSOD rather than keeping it at home.

The meeting was attended by other dignitaries, including Mr. Joseph Kwame Waja (BOD Chairman), Mr. Djan John (BOD Vice Chairman), Madam Elizabeth Seidu (BOD Member), and Reverend Father Ernest Boadum (Spiritual Director). Overall, the launch of the Mobile App and USSD Code marked a significant step forward for BACCSOD in providing modern and convenient banking services to its customers.
