A stray bullet, fired by police officers during an anti-robbery operation at Pig Farm in Accra, tragically claimed the life of an innocent woman. Despite immediate medical attention, she was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

The police, expressing deep sadness, clarified that the ongoing operation aims to apprehend a criminal gang responsible for numerous robberies.

Two members were arrested on Saturday, December 16, 2023, but an unintended casualty occurred during the operation. The police, having visited the bereaved family, pledged ongoing support during this challenging time and extended heartfelt condolences.”
