Asantewaa returns to Mexico to resume club duties.

Grace Asantewaa is heading back to Mexico to resume her club duties with FC Juárez Femenil after a remarkable performance with the Black Queens at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco. She expressed gratitude to Ghanaians for their support, which undoubtedly fueled her determination to make a mark in the tournament.

Asantewaa’s impressive display earned her a spot in the CAF WAFCON 2024 Best XI, alongside fellow Ghanaian player Portia Boakye. Her relentless work rate, vision, and ball progression were instrumental in Ghana’s third-place finish, their first podium finish since 2016.

With her sights set on future success, Asantewaa revealed her ambition to claim the WAFCON title and etch her name into African football history. Her outstanding performance against Algeria in the quarterfinals, where she won the Player of the Match award, showcased her skills on the continental stage.
