Banda Youth Association Donates to Public Schools in the Banda Community

The Banda Youth Association in the Oti region has donated exercise books, drawing and arithmetic books, pencils, pens, erasers, and all kinds of stationery to the Public Basic Schools in the Banda community.

This gesture by the Youth Association is to boost the writing, drawing, and arithmetic skills of their young brothers and sisters in the community.

In an interview with monikstvonline.com correspondent, the President of the Association, Mr. Frederick Opoku Denkyira disclosed that they grew up in the community and knew very well the challenges facing parents and their children in terms of education and therefore, will do all in their power to indiscriminately support.

“We are not selective because we grew up here and knew the challenges of parents concerning the education of their children. We have to sort everyone out because we feel they need it and it will go a long way to energize their learning spirit. We will do more in the coming days,” Mr. Denkyira explained.

The Association will soon include all private schools in the locality.

The gesture will not be limited to only schools but all sectors that need to be supported: agriculture, health, businesses, and many more.

The beneficiary schools include Banda Roman Catholic (R/C), District Assembly(D/A), and English/Arabic(E/A) Basic Schools.
