Gabriel Denyinah, Atebubu-born baller joins Ghana U16

Gabriel Denyinah, a talented left-footer center back from Atebubu, has joined the Ghana U16 team for the upcoming Guadeloupe U-16 Invitational tournament. Denyinah, who plays for Great Warriors Soccer Academy in the Ashanti Region, was initially with the Ghana U20 team but received a call-up from Coach Odartey Lamptey to join the U16 team.

As the Ghana U20 team departs for Morocco on March 15, Denyinah will focus on preparing with the U16 team for the Guadeloupe tournament. This move showcases Denyinah’s versatility and potential, as he’s also a student at Asanteman Senior High School.

Ghana’s U16 team has been performing well, having participated in the UEFA U16 International Development Tournament, where they secured impressive wins against Serbia and Kazakhstan. With Denyinah on board, the team is likely to benefit from his skills and experience.

The Ghanaian youngsters will showcase their talents against counterparts from Morocco, France, Brazil, Ivory Coast and Togo come this May 25, 2025.
