Atebubu-Amantin: Ghana U20 Goalkeeper Saeed Yakubu makes history.

Ghana Black Satellites goalkeeper, Saeed Yakubu creates history, for becoming the first player from Atebubu-Amantin municipality to win gold medal at All African Games.

This happened on the 13th All African Games hosted by Ghana. When the Black Satellites beat Uganda by a lone goal at Accra Sports Stadium via Jerry Afriyie on the 90th minutes of the proceedings.

Saeed’s performances was stellar, denying havoc-causative opportunities by opponents for Ghana, keeping a record of 4 clean sheets of 5 appearances, – conceding single goal against Gambia.

His achievement marks a significant milestone for himself, club and his hometown, inspiring future generations of footballers in the region.
