Hon Sanja Nanja donates Multi-function IT device to Atebubu Police

Hon Sanja Nanja, the Member of Parliament for the Atebubu-Amantin Municipality, recently made a generous donation to the Atebubu Police Headquarters. Alongside the Atebubu-Amantin NDC Constituency Executives, Hon Sanja Nanja presented a modernized multi-function printer and photocopier machine to the police station on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

In his address, Hon Sanja Nanja highlighted the importance of providing the police with adequate resources to carry out their duties effectively. He noted that the current printer being used by the police was insufficient for their needs, often requiring them to outsource printing and photocopying services. Recognizing the importance of efficient document management for law enforcement, Hon Sanja Nanja saw fit to donate a powerful and multi-functional machine to enhance the police’s capabilities.

Furthermore, Hon Sanja Nanja called upon the diaspora, philanthropists, and other well-wishers to support the police in combating the rising cases of robbery in Atebubu, Amantin, and the Bono-East region. He emphasized the need for collaboration between the police and the community, urging residents to provide information and tips to help thwart criminal activities. Hon Sanja Nanja assured the residents that the Atebubu police force is trustworthy and will maintain confidentiality to protect informants.

ASP Julius Akpelime, the Municipal commander expressed gratitude to Hon Sanja Nanja and the delegation for their generous donation. He acknowledged the importance of having adequate resources to effectively combat crime and requested further support from the community and stakeholders. He promised to protect and keep safe informants who would be willing to aid the Police.
