Ohempon renovates abandoned Water Works building for Ghana Immigration Service Municipal Office.

In his third year as the President of the Atebubu Traditional Council, Atebubumanwura HRM Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah has been instrumental in spearheading various development projects in Atebubu. One of the notable projects that he has undertaken is the renovation of an abandoned water works building for the Ghana Immigration Service to be used as a municipal office.
Under the supervision of Mr. Osei Michael, the General Manager of the Atebubu Stool Lands Secretariat(ASLS), the project has been successfully completed at a cost of approximately Eighty Thousand Ghana cedis(¢80,000). This amount includes the cost of workmanship and other related expenses. Once handed over to the Ghana Immigration Service, the building will serve as a municipal office, providing essential services to the residents of Atebubu and its environs.

Mr. Osei Michael emphasized the significance of having all institutions in the community, stating that it will help uplift the status of Atebubu and position the town for future opportunities. He commended Ohempon’s vision to change the narrative about Atebubu and listed several other projects that have been completed or are about to commence under his leadership.
It is worth noting that the Atebubu Traditional Council relies on the revenue generated from the leasing of lands through the Atebubu Stool Lands Secretariat. Any funds generated from these activities are reinvested back into the community for the betterment of its residents.

The renovation of the abandoned water works building for the Ghana Immigration Service is just one of the many projects that Atebubumanwura Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah has undertaken to improve the infrastructure and services in Atebubu and the Municipal as a whole. His dedication to the development of the community is evident in the tangible results that have been achieved under his leadership.
