Ohempon Yeboah Asiamah and Nananom magnanimously open their doors to Hon. Sanja Nanja (MP, Atebubu-Amantin)

Ohempon Yeboah Asiamah (Paramount Chief), Nana Afia Donyina II (Queenmother) and Nananom of Atebubu Traditional Area warmly received Hon. Sanja Nanja and a delegation from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for reconciliatory talks on Sunday 25th February, 2024 at the residence of Ohempon.

The meeting follows a series of engagements between Nananom and the leadership of the NDC towards restoring the cordial relationship between Nananom and the MP, which was strained by unsavoury words spoken by the later against the Queenmother in 2016.

Hon. Sanja Nanja demonstrated his remorse for his words, to which Ohempon Yeboah Asiamah, Ohemaa Afia Donyina II and Nananom responded with wholehearted pardon.

Ohempon Yeboah Asiamah and Nananom declared that their doors are open to the MP for collaboration towards the development of Atebubu.

Hon. Sanja and the NDC delegation expressed their appreciation for the magnanimity demonstrated by Nananom and resolved to guard the restored relationship diligently.
