MP Hon Sanja Nanja hands over newly renovated Garadima CHPS Compound.

On the 23rd of January, 2026, a significant event took place in the suburb of Garadima in the Atebubu-Amantin Municipality of the Bono-East Region. Hon Sanja Nanja, the Member of Parliament for the Atebubu-Amantin Constituency, officially handed over the newly renovated Garadima CHPS Compound to the Health directorate of the municipality.
The renovation of the Garadima CHPS Compound was made possible through the generous contribution of Hon Sanja Nanja, who utilized his share of the Health Insurance Fund for the project. The MP expressed his commitment to using the funds allocated to him for the benefit of the people of his constituency. He emphasized that while the funds may not be able to address all the healthcare needs of the community, they can certainly make a difference in addressing some of the pressing issues..



A total of Ghc180,000 was spent on the renovation of the Garadima CHPS Compound, which now stands as a testament to the dedication of Hon Sanja Nanja to improving healthcare facilities in the area. Additionally, the MP has allocated Ghc55,000 for the procurement of much-needed hospital equipment for the dentist department at the Atebubu-Amantin Municipal Hospital and also an undisclosed allocated amount to Jato Zongo CHPS Compound.
In his speech, Hon Sanja Nanja also highlighted the need to address the lack of electricity at the World Bank’s CHPS Compound in the Senti community. He mentioned that he has already taken steps to address this issue by requesting the Municipal Chief Executive to use the 4th quarter of the Common Fund to install a solar lighting system at the facility.

The collaboration between Hon Sanja Nanja and the Municipal Chief Executive was praised during the event, with both officials expressing their commitment to working together for the development of the Atebubu-Amantin Constituency. The MP also requested an estimation of the hospital equipment and resources needed at the Garadima CHPS Compound, promising to provide support within his means.
The event was attended by officials from the health directorate, nurses, and members of the community, who all expressed their gratitude to Hon Sanja Nanja for his efforts in improving healthcare facilities in the area. The MP concluded his speech by promising to digitize the operations of the CHIP Compound, further enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare services in the community.
