HRM Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah Donates to Readwide; Exercise Books and Undisclosed Amount

On Thursday, June 12, 2025, HRM Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah, the President of Atebubu Traditional Area, demonstrated his commitment to developing education in Atebubu once again by donating exercise books and an undisclosed amount of money to Readwide Achievers Society, the founder Mr Owusu Yaw Michael, and some teachers via the Atebubuman Education Secretariat. This generous donation was made to appreciate and encourage the society for organizing free tuition classes for the candidates writing the BECE Examination this year. The presentation was made by Mr Ofei Amponsah, former New Konkrompe Senior High School(NEKOSS) Headmaster.

Ohempon’s dedication to improving education in Atebubu is truly commendable. As the Paramount chief of Atebubu Traditional Area, he established the Atebubuman Education Secretariat, a non-profit organization dedicated to guiding, training, educating, advising, and supporting the bright young minds of Atebubu, especially those facing financial challenges. His vision is to ensure that every student in Atebubu has access to quality education and the resources they need to succeed.

In addition to his efforts to support students academically, Dr. Yeboah Asiamah has introduced Ohempon Quiz Competition. This annual event brings together schools from across Atebubu to compete in a friendly but challenging quiz competition. The competition not only tests the students’ knowledge but also fosters a spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition among the schools.

HRM Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah’s support for education is truly inspiring. By investing in the education and development of the youth in Atebubu, he is not only shaping the future of the community but also demonstrating the importance of investing in human capital.
