Today as all Junior High Schools students in Atebubu were gearing up to take on one of the most important exams of their academic careers – the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), they received a special message of encouragement and support from none other than Atebubumanwura HRM Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah.
Ohempon’s dedication to improving education in Atebubu is truly commendable. Under his leadership as the Paramount chief of Atebubu Traditional Area, he has established the Atebubu Educational Secretariat. This non-profitable organization is dedicated to guiding, training, educating, advising, and supporting the bright young minds of Atebubu, especially those who may be facing financial challenges. Ohempon’s vision is to ensure that every student in Atebubu has access to quality education and the resources they need to succeed.
In addition to his efforts to support students academically, Ohempon has also introduced the Ohempon Quiz Competition. This annual event brings together schools from across Atebubu to compete in a friendly but challenging quiz competition. The competition not only tests the students’ knowledge but also fosters a spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition among the schools.
