BARFA Unveils Plans for 2024/25 Middle League

Sunyani, May 3, 2025 — Dr. Charles Osei Antoh, Chairman of the Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association (BARFA), met today with representatives from the 24 clubs that have qualified for the 2024/25 BARFA Division Two Middle League. The meeting, held to outline key modalities for the tournament, emphasized the importance of branding and preparation ahead of the much-anticipated competition.

Addressing the clubs, Dr. Antoh revealed that each Club will receive 20 branded T-shirts and 20 backpacks featuring the BARFA logo and Club name. The attire will be worn when traveling to game centers. In addition, two footballs will be provided to each club to aid in their training efforts.

The tournament format will see the 24 clubs grouped into six with one team from each center qualifying to the next stage of the competition. The six qualifying teams will then be divided into two groups of three, with the winner of each group advancing to the grand final. The winner of the final match will earn promotion to the Ghana Division One League.
The Middle League is set to begin on Monday, 12th May 2025

Dr. Antoh encouraged all participating clubs to maintain discipline and exhibit professionalism throughout the competition, adding that the new initiatives are part of a broader effort to enhance the profile and competitiveness of grassroots football in the region.
