KRACHI -WEST: NDC Constituency Executives Demand Fairness and Transparency In the MCE Vetting Process

The Constituency executives of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Krachi-west Constituency have called for fairness and transparency in the vetting process of the MCE aspirants.
In a press conference organized by the executives, they argued that:

- there was no transparency in the process;
- the selection was unfairly done;
- they ignored dedicated Constituency executives;
- there was a complete disregard of party guidelines and
- there was connivance with the Member of Parliament.
They, therefore, called on the party’s national leadership to immediately investigate the biased selection process.
They also demanded transparency in the selection criteria and process.
Through the Constituency Chairman, the group desired recognition and reward for dedicated Constituency executives.
The executives requested that there be adherence to party guidelines and protocols in the selection process.
They finally demanded that an independent body be constituted by the national executives to re-vet all the aspirants from the Krachi-west Constituency.
They urged the national leadership and the president to intervene immediately and ensure that the selection process for Krachi-west aspirants is fair, transparent, and accountable.
They demanded justice and fairness.
