HRM Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah visits Osagyefo Oseadeɛyo Dr. Agyemang Badu II

The Omanhene of Atebubu Traditional Area, Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah, as part of his courtesy calls on national leaders, visited the Paramount Chief of Dormaa and President of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs, Osagyefo Oseadeɛyo Agyemang Badu II, on July 28, 2024, at his Abanpredease Palace.
The visit was the first meeting between the Paramount Chiefs since Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah ascended the Owusu Asare Stool of the Atebubu Traditional Area in July 2022.

Dormaahene heartily welcomed Ohempon and his council and expressed his profound gratitude for the visit. He encouraged Ohempon to keep up the good work he has been pursuing in just two years of his enthronement, stating that he is a formidable exhibit of what a progressive chief should be. “I follow and am delighted about what you are doing to project Atebubu and, hence, Ghana, to the world”, he proudly declared.
He recounted his cordial relationship with the late Omanhene of Atebubu, Nana Owusu Acheaw Brempong II and declared his resolve to sustain that relationship between the two Paramountcies.
Ohempon applauded Dormaahene for his trailblazing efforts in spurring on Bonoman and Ghana as a whole to desire and work for sustainable development. He also stressed the need for unity among all the Bono states to accelerate progress in the respective states and strengthen their collective contribution to the advancement of the nation.
The conversation between the two chiefs was marked by hearty exchanges so natural they might have appeared choreographed to persons unfamiliar with the friendly disposition of both personalities.
Among Ohempon’s delegation from his Traditional Area were Nana Owusu Sa-Kofi (Nifahene), Nana Ofori Yeboah (Twaffourhene), Nana Asare Baffour (Ntotoeɛhene), Nana Boakye Yiadom (Kyeame), Nana Atta Gyan Katakyie (Sompahene), Nana Akosua Gyambea Adeɛpena (Nkosuo Hemaa), and Dr. Kennedy Bomfeh (Chief of Staff).

Osagyefo Oseadeɛyo Dr. Agyemang Badu II was also flanked by some members of his council and an energetic contingent of traditional singers.
