Numerous beneficiaries of the Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty(LEAP) have received tokens in the form of cash over the years.
The New Patriotic Party(NPP) through the Parliamentary Candidate, Hon. James Mamudu has done it differently this time around.
Instead of the usual cash, LEAP beneficiaries have received assorted items aimed at establishing them to be able to work for the cash.
The PC, Hon. James Mamudu known in political cycles as “BabyJet” stated that instead of the government teaching them to eat fish, they have decided to teach them how to catch fish. So that they can work and earn more than what the government is giving them.
Items such as Agrochemicals, cement, roofing sheets, knapsacks, water tanks, buckets, irrigation cans, and many others were presented to the beneficiaries from the various communities in the Constituency.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Parliamentary Candidate and prayed for his triumph so he could do more for them.
