Ghana’s Grace Asantewaa makes history with club, FC Juárez, – qualified for playoff.

Ghana Women’s National Team midfielder Grace Asantewaa has made a remarkable history with club, FC Juárez Femenil after drawing 1-1 against Club América Femenil at the Benito Juárez Olympic Stadium.
This happened on matchday 17 of Clausura 2024 of the Liga MX Femenil, the Bravas de Juárez tied 1-1 against Club América Femenil on Saturday, thus achieving their classification to the final phase.

The former Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC star, started the game for FC Juárez, she played 70mins with an intense performance. The Atebubu-born midfielder’s contribution to club’s success is unprecedented.

The match entered a tense atmosphere for both teams, who sought at all times to achieve victory through intensity and drive. However, time continued to pass and a tie was finally declared, Juarez 1-1 Club América Femenil.

After this result, Bravas manages to access the second Liguilla in its history after adding 27 points during the regular phase, positioning itself in eighth position, so it will now face the first place Tigres Femenil in the quarterfinals.
