Ghana Black Satellites goalkeeper Saeed Yakubu has donated to club, Siano Soccer Academy after 13th All African Games victory.
An undisclosed amount of money, bags of rice etc were given to the team, along with a medal for their head coach.
The highly-rated goalkeeper helped Ghana U20 to win gold medal in the just ended All African Games that was hosted in Accra, Ghana.
Ghana beat Uganda by a lone goal via Jerry Afriyie at the grand finale at Accra Sports Stadium.
The Atebubu born pride’s performances were stellar, denying havoc-causative opportunities by opponents for Ghana, keeping a record of 4 clean sheets of 5 appearances, – conceding single goal against Gambia. His achievement marks a significant hallmark for himself, club and his hometown, inspiring future generations of footballers in Ghana.
