Atebubumanwura Calls For Unity, Development Among Bonoman at Kwafie Festival & 25th anniversary of Dormaahene’s Enstoolment

On Saturday, December 21, 2024, during the celebration of the Kwafie Festival and the 25th anniversary of Dormaahene’s Enstoolment, Atebubumanwura Ohempon Dr. Yeboah Asiamah delivered a powerful message calling for unity and development among the people of Bonoman. As the chairman of the occasion, the Paramount chief of Atebubu Traditional Area emphasized the importance of chiefs and traditional leaders in promoting progress and prosperity in their communities.

Atebubumanwura highlighted the fact that being a chief is not just about wearing luxurious clothing and holding a title, but it is about actively working towards the development of the community. He urged all chiefs on the Bono land to come together and work towards a common goal of improving the lives of their people.

Furthermore, Atebubumanwura called on Nananom and other traditional leaders to speak up on national issues, particularly issues such as galamsey and the pollution of water bodies. He stressed the importance of using their positions of influence to advocate for positive change and to protect the environment for future generations.

During his speech, Atebubumanwura also took the time to acknowledge the achievements of Dormaahene Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Nana Agyeman Badu II, both within Bono, Ghana, and internationally. He commended the Dormaahene for his dedication to the development of the region and for his efforts in promoting unity and progress among the people.

In the spirit of giving back to the community, Atebubumanwura made a generous donation of ghc25000, 200 tubers of yam, and cattle to support the 25th anniversary celebrations of Dormaahene’s Enstoolment.
