Atebubu Zone: Alleged, BARFA assistant referee brutally attacked by team owner.

During matchday 4 of BARFA D2L(Atebubu Zone), between Tornado FC and RASA on Sunday February, 4 at Anglican Park; – An unfortunate incident occurred involving the BARFA Assistant referee, Boka and Royal Atebubu Soccer Academy’s club president.
Alleged, The assistant referee was physically assaulted by the club president of RASA, Mr Jake Taylor who also happens to be a Police officer.

The referee was brutally attacked, sustaining injuries to his mouth. Witnesses reported seeing him being knocked to the ground and repeatedly stamped on.
This incident has caused significant concerns, as it involves a key stakeholder who is supposed to promote peace and discourage hooliganism.
It serves as a reminder of the importance of effective football management in Atebubu.
The game ended 3-0 in favor of Tornado FC via Christopher Nteyaan Katongo and Musah Hadi’s strikes.
