Retained ‘AgroChem’ for farmers in Atebubu-Amantin constituency chased for.

A recent discovery in the Atebubu-Amantin Constituency has uncovered agro chemicals, machines and bulbs allegedly distributed during the 2024 General Elections.

Suspicions arise that these items were intended to support the former government’s campaign by winning over farmers with gifts, but instead, they were withheld by some individuals, including Frontliners, for personal gain.

The items in question, including fertilizers, insecticides, weedicides and farming tools were supposedly meant to benefit farmers in the area. However, their discovery in hidden locations suggests that they may have been used for political leverage instead.

Reports indicate that some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the constituency, along with security personnel, were spotted at the locations where these items are being stored. The situation highlights concerns about corruption and the misuse of resources intended for public benefit.
