The Chinderi Town Team has emerged winners of a Sallah League organized successfully by “Arise Youth” of Zongo-Macheri in the Krachi-Nchumuru District.
The Chinderi Town Team secured four goal as against Bitimae United’s two in penalty shoot-outs after exhausting all minutes of play goaless.
The participating teams in the tournament included Banda Phobia Stars, 55 Brothers of Zongo-Macheri, Zongo-Macheri Town Team, Bitimae United and Chinderi Town Team.
The programme attracted a host of dignitaries including the Chief of the town, Nana Kofi Agyane I, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate, Hon. James Mamudu and his entourage and some representatives of the NDC.
The winners went home with a trophy and an amount of GH¢500.00 and the first runner-up GH¢300.00.
