ATEBUBU: Seven bedrooms burnt to ashes, the cause fire outbreak alleged.

The fire outbreak at a house beside the Roman Catholic Church in Atebubu was a devastating incident that occurred at dawn today. The house, which had seven bedrooms full of tenants’ properties, was completely engulfed in flames, leaving everything inside burnt to ashes.
One of the victims, who is popularly known as Teacher Kusi, believes that the fire outbreak was caused by a female tenant who had left a cookpot with fire inside one of the rooms where bags of charcoal are packed. It is suspected that the fire was not properly extinguished, leading to the tragic accident.

The Atebubu Fire Service was called to the scene, but by the time they arrived, it was too late to save anything from the raging flames. Eyewitnesses and viral videos show the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) Atebubu branch was at the scene with a tractor and tanker, trying to calm the situation. It is unfortunate to note that the fire tender has not been functioning for several months now, which may have contributed to the severity of the fire outbreak.
This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of fire safety measures and the need for functioning fire equipment in our communities. It is a tragic loss for the tenants who have lost all their belongings in the fire, and it highlights the need for greater awareness and preparedness for such emergencies in the future. Our thoughts are with the victims of this fire outbreak, and we hope that measures will be taken to prevent such incidents from happening again in the future.
