“Desist From Politicking With the Health of Constituents, “NPP PC

The Parliamentary Candidate(PC) of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) in the Krachi-Nchumuru Constituency has cautioned the NDC and their PC to desist from politicking with the health of constituents, especially Borae-Ahenfie.

The famous PC, Hon. James Mamudu, known politically as Baby Jet indicated that no one is against health screening but to make it appear as if there was an outbreak of diseases as the NDC carried it is worrying and adding salt to injuries.

Baby Jet disclosed that the misinformation aimed by his opponent to gain cheap political points will rather deny people livelihoods since nobody will be ready to work or trade there.

Hon. Mamudu advised the NDC to devise a more strategic way of garnering votes from those communities rather than causing unnecessary tension in those areas which is likely to affect the whole district.

He added that people organize a screening and do not even want others to hear. A sitting MP organizes one and wants the whole world to hear about it.

“Should you even paint the picture as if there was an outbreak of diseases if you were the one who organized it, do you know what an outbreak means?” Baby Jet quizzed.

He commended the Health Directorate for taking such steps and urged them not to hesitate to inform him whenever they are embarking on such moves.

He said he supports such initiatives but not when they are tantamount to causing fear and panic.

Hon. James Mamudu assured the constituents and in particular, the people of Borae-Ahenfie and the surrounding communities to remain calm and continue with their daily activities and that there was no cause for alarm.

He urged well-meaning citizens to work hard to promote unity and understanding by seeking accurate information and support initiatives aimed at improving the health of all.
