KWAME-DANSO: Dwanhene visits contractors constructing Kwame-Danso to Atebubu road.

On July 7, 2024, Dwanhene Nana Okoforobour Awassa Afura III, the President of the Dwan Traditional Council, embarked on a visit to the contractors and workers who were tasked with constructing the Kwame-Danso to Atebubu road.
Nana was accompanied by the Zongo Chief of the area, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), and the authorities of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) Kwame-Danso branch, Nana Okoforobour Afura III sought to assess the progress of the road construction project.


In his address to the contractors and workers, Nana Okoforobour Afura III emphasized the importance of completing the road in a timely manner to benefit the people of Kwame-Danso and Atebubu. He urged the contractor to ensure that the road was constructed to high standards, emphasizing that quality should not be compromised for speed. The Dwanhene stressed that the two-year contract should be utilized effectively to deliver a durable and well-constructed road that would serve the community for years to come.
The contractor, in response, assured Nana Okoforobour Afura III and the residents of Kwame-Danso and Atebubu that he was committed to delivering a high-quality road. He pledged to uphold the standards set forth in the contract and to prioritize the long-term benefits of the community over short-term gains.
The contractor expressed his desire to leave a positive legacy by completing the project to the satisfaction of all stakeholders involved.
