Crime Check, a Ghanaian organization dedicated to helping those in need, announced that Asantewaa has generously donated an undisclosed amount of money to assist in freeing prisoners who are facing minor charges.
The Atebubu pride shared that she was inspired to take action after watching interview videos conducted by Crime Check with some of the prisoners, hearing their heartbreaking stories and learning about their struggles. It was through these stories that Asantewaa felt compelled to make a difference and help those who are in need of a second chance.
It is worth noting that Asantewaa’s mother has been a driving force behind her daughter’s acts of kindness and generosity towards others.
