ATEBUBU: Residents hail Obeng over travelling support to over 28 Ghanaians.
Residents in Atebubu have hailed Obeng Emmanuel who is his 30s, popularly known as Lilo, for his incredible act of kindness in providing traveling support to over 28 people from Ghana to Dubai. Obeng, who traveled to Dubai on September 21, 2021, has been offering assistance to Ghanaian youths who are seeking job opportunities in Dubai.
Having a vision of establishing Atebubu Tuoaboba in Dubai, Obeng has been instrumental in helping many individuals from his hometown to find employment in Dubai. Out of the 28 people he has supported, 20 beneficiaries are from Atebubu and Tuoaboba area, the area where he grew up in Ghana.
Obeng’s method of support has been commendable, as he has made it easier for interested travelers to make payments and even pay in installments. Some individuals have been flown to Dubai without having to pay anything upfront, with the understanding that they will find a job and repay the support without any interest.
The residents of Atebubu have expressed their gratitude towards Obeng, with some stating that if the town had more individuals like him, Atebubu would be among the wealthiest towns in the Bono-East Region. His selfless act of helping others in need has truly made a positive impact on the community.
