Apologise to the people of Krachi-Nchumuru and NPP,” NDC MP Told

Hon. Solomon Kuyor, the current Member of Parliament(MP) and former District Chief Executive(DCE) for the Krachi-Nchomuru District made baseless claims against Nana Addo/Dr. Bawumia’s government, describing them as insensitive to the plight of Ghanaians on a live interview granted him by Nana King(a political host at Kano fm and Ghana News Agency correspondent) on 20th February, 2024.
Mr. Jacob Dasievor rebutted on the same medium and described his claims as mere allegations and illogical.

He, however, set the records straight by analyzing his allegations.
First of all, Mr. Solomon Kuyon said he started a CHPS Compound as a DCE under the NDC government at Wandando, and the project was abandoned by the NPP government.
It’s never true!
Jacob says in the former DCE’s handing over documents available at the Krachi-Nchumuru District Assembly, he had paid the full contract sum to the Contractor which vividly shows that the project was completed, yet the same person is saying the project was abandoned by NPP government.
Mr. Dasievor says the statement is conflicting and contradicting, and he needs more explanation from Hon. Koyon.
The Contractor, on the other hand, said he was not fully paid and that is why he vacated the site.
Secondly, Hon. Kuyon said in his interview that Namondo D/A Primary School was also abandoned while he gave the Contract to his biological brother and according to the documents at the Assembly, his brother was fully paid with the contract sum.
The communicator, therefore, challenged Hon. Kuyon to come out and explain to the good people of the Constituency and Ghanaians why a fully paid contract could not be completed by his brother.
Finally, in his statement, he said the NPP government abandoned Rural Electrification Projects in his constituency which is never true.
Before the 2016 election, Hon. Kuyon and his NDC government deposited electrical poles in various Communities and lied to them that they would get lights within six months before the general elections which could not materialize after the election, the Contractor went for his poles to different districts.
That was why electrification projects were delayed in Communities like:
Gyoto- Chayo, Motoka No1 and No2, Papaye and the others
Meanwhile, the NPP government extended electricity to the following Communities:
- Ngbanye
- Nafeba
- Kpajoti
- Ndesala
- Bitimae
- Najori
7.Namondo - Dakpadakpa
- Banda Takpa
- Borae-Nkwanta Bekposo
- Majimaji
- Bakando
- Dwadwae
All these Communities were connected to the national grid during the Nana Addo and Bawumia regimes.
