Readwide Achievers Society’s 2nd Annual Seminar, Techiman.

The 2nd annual Readwide Seminar was held at the Valley View University campus in Techiman, with 30 kids from Atebubu and its environs in attendance from August 28 to 30, 2025. This event marked a significant milestone for the Readwide Achievers Society, as it was the second edition of the seminar following the success of the first edition held in the same town the previous year.

Organizing the seminar was not without its challenges, as the Readwide Achievers Society faced inadequate funds to bring the event to fruition. However, through determination and hard work, the team managed to overcome these obstacles and make the seminar a reality for the kids.

The seminar featured a lineup of knowledgeable facilitators, including Mr. Basit and Mr. Jeremiah, who is visually impaired. These facilitators delivered speeches and education on the importance of good behavioral attitudes, inspiring the kids to strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives.
In addition to the educational sessions, the kids were also treated to exciting excursions to various locations. They visited the Techiman Metropolitan Library, where they had the opportunity to explore through reading and expand their knowledge. They also had the chance to visit the breathtaking Kintampo Waterfalls in Kintampo, where they were able to connect with nature and appreciate the beauty of the environment.

The kids who attended the seminar were full of excitement and gratitude for the education and entertainment they received during the event. They shared stories of how the seminar had inspired them to work harder in school and strive for success in their future endeavors.
Founder of the Readwide Achievers Society, Mr. Yaw Owusu Michael, expressed his heartfelt thanks to philanthropists like Mallam Motors and the Atebubuman Education Secretariat for their support in making the seminar a success. He also called on the community and diaspora to support the Readwide Achievers Society by donating to their MoMo number 0530534904 , to help continue their important work in empowering and educating the youth.
The 2nd annual Readwide Seminar was a resounding success, thanks to the dedication and hard work of the Readwide Achievers Society team and the support of generous donors.
