Atebubu Zone club owners have written petition to Brong Ahafo Regional Football Association(BARFA) to reschedule date for beginning the Division Two League at the said zone.
The official date, released by BARFA were 15,16 & 17, however, the clubs believe they have pertaining reasons for BARFA to postpone the 2023-24 2nd Division League in that zone.

After a meeting by the clubs, January 13, 2024 has been proposed, a month after the official date to fully complete procedures ahead of the 2023-24 season.
Reasons include…
- Delay and incomplete of Round/1 fixtures.
- BARFA’s decision to use 1 game venue instead of 3(Anglican Park, English&Arabic & Presby Park)
- Footballs are not provided at game venues for league matches.
- Grant letter to the security to calm hooliganism, not ready.
- Players’ registration cards are not ready.
