Atebubu chap, Yakubu Saeed earns call up to Ghana U-20 to prepare ahead WAFU Zone B

Yakubu Saeed has been named among players invited to Ghana U20 to begin camping tomorrow, as part of preparations ahead of 2024 WAFU Zone B U20 Cup of Nations.

Saeed, highly-talented goalkeeper who started his football journey at Zongo Bayern Munich at Atebubu New Konkrompe has shown tremendous skills and talent on the field of play over the years, – thus attracting the attention of Desmond Offei, Black Satellites coach.

Saeed will have to snatch a place as the final team is yet to be announced by gaffer Desmond Offei after the two different camping sessions.

Saeed’s invitation in the Black Satellites squad reflects his dedication and commitment to the game.

This will not only provide him with the opportunity to represent his country but also serve as a platform to further develop his skills and make a name for himself in the world of football.

Saeed Yakubu, speaking to Atoobu Sports said, he’s not surprised he’s returning to the National Team.
“I’m so glad to earn a call up to Ghana U-20. However, I’m not surprised, because my days with the U-17 last year was a thing to watch”

He also assured people of Atebubu, a number one shot-stopper for Ghana U20 as lad competes with other key talents.

Saeed started his football journey from Zongo Bayern Munich FC at New Konkrompe, Atebubu.

He currently plays for Siano FC, Greater Accra.
